Editor's Perfumehead 1360 Review: A Smoky Vetiver Fragrance for Evenings

Words: Isis Nicole (@theisisnicole)

I had just finished up my itinerary for Los Angeles when Perfumehead’s 1360 debut landed on my radar. The fragrance is built on contrast, mystery and comfort, with smoky vetiver and green-edged freshness. First, a teeny tiny note on unboxing: I found every detail to feel intentional, especially the prelude tucked inside which sets the tone before you even lift the cap, teasing at a scent you can’t place, and a place you can’t forget.

Then the main event…the first spritz. It smells expensive and earthy. Like stepping into Soho House after dark, all low light and worn leather. Or a Shibuya hotel bar from another era, the kind where indoor smoking curls and whiskey is poured in a glass. It’s that room, bottled.

As for the wear, the cologne extrait is a touch too charged for the start of my day. I save it for the evening instead, now that the sun sets closer to 5 p.m. It’s not like I’m doing much after work, so it’s what I reach for to slip into elegance after a shower, or to add a bit of mystery before my husband’s stand-up set.

Give this earthy delicacy a go now that the holiday season has begun. It just might become your top choice, too 🤎.
