Actor, writer, and comic Jes Tom is almost at the end of their saturn return and still reaching stardom beyond what they dreamed. From sharing stages with Awkwafina to hosting Dear Jes, an Instagram live advice show for Most—home of Netflix’s LGBTQ+ storytelling platform—Jes continues to find their footing in the new class of entertainers building up space where queer, trans, and people of color can have fun. Jes talks being an extrovert, knowing a lot about fish, and Taylor Swift.

Home Base: San Francisco when it was still full of naked hippies walking around on a Wednesday.

Dream job growing up: Paleontologist/Marine Biologist. But it turns out both those jobs are pretty boring irl, so now I’m a standup comic who knows a lot about fish.

Most known for: Being overly horny on main Twitter.

Pet Peeves: I don’t know, this is probably just me, but white supremacist capitalism???

What was the inspiration behind this shoot? Bridget throws these gorgeous open studios where she invites a bunch of her friends to come shoot with her, and I was lucky enough to be included. I believe the theme was “end of summer” which for me was just an excuse to get naked.
